Tri-Unity Tax and Business Services policy is to keep your personal and business information private to the extent of law. All information you give to this company is treated with the utmost security and privacy. Your personal information will only be shared with members of our firm and/or third-party software vendors to collect and process your information needed to do the work you've hired us to do. The IRS allows us to give your personal information to a tax return processor vendor, so that we can prepare and e-file your tax return. We do not disclose your personal information to anyone outside of our company and software vendors unless we have your written consent or unless it is necessary as permitted by law.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION

You should also be aware that any information you provide to this company during the client intake and tax return preparation process, your information will be kept confidential, but not protected from the IRS. Privileged communications exempt from IRS jurisdiction to compel the firm's testimony are restricted to tax legal advice and procedures before federal courts. The advisor-client privilege doesn't cover tax preparation services, even though our company believes any information provided to us is fully confidential.

We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources: customer intake forms, applications, tax organizers, worksheets, and other tax-related papers. We do not share any nonpublic personal information regarding our clients or past clients unless required by law. We limit access to nonpublic personal information about you to those personnel of our company who need to know such information to provide you with services. We employ physical, electronic, and procedural measures in accordance with federal legislation to protect your nonpublic personal information. The online information is saved on secure servers, and only authorized parties are granted access to and download of this personal information.
